John Lane (director)

John Lane holds professional qualifications that provide a unique background for his various roles with dbb. These include a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Marine Engineering along with an MBA. He is a registered Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia and holds various marine related affiliations.

John has been in the defence and commercial marine design and construction industry for 26 years having held various senior design, project, commercial and operations positions with world recognised ship builders. He continues to consult to Defence on Naval issues.

His commercial and marketing skills have been honed in conjunction with project management roles in a number of private companies.

Neil Houlahan (director)

Neil Houlahan holds a Bachelors Degree in Business (Professional Accounting) and has 30 years professional and commercial experience in the areas of construction, insurance, accounting, banking, real estate and consulting as an expert witness. Over the last 15 years Neil involvement in real estate has been as an owner, trader, developer and broker across Australia and Asia. Neil’s commercial and banking experience allows him to assist clients with the financial and legal aspects of acquisition and/or disposals and hence Neil is the company’s commercial property and business specialist. He is a registered real estate principal in Queensland Australia and will complete the requisite study to be registered as a Property Valuer in 2016.
